World War I &
World War II
Tour
Oct 1-12, 2026

World Wars I & II were the most pervasive and deadliest conflicts in history. Victory was slow and costly, permanently altering political, economic, scientific, and social structures in ways that are still evident today. The question has often been asked, 'Where was God when this was happening?'. He was right where He was when His Son hung on the cross. He was right where He is right now. Travel with us and explore our Christian heritage through the eyes of those who experienced WWI&II. Remember what God has done and discover what He is doing today.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

Angoville au Plain
In this typical Normandy farm village, Ken Moore and Bob Wright treated over 80 casualties in the small church. You can still see the blood-stained pews decades later. The 101st Airborne from Toccoa Georgia fought in the city. In reverence, the locals renamed the church square, Place Toccoa.

Thiepval
The largest British Memorial to the missing of WWI, with the greatest number of names, and the last to be completed. It bears witness to the Anglo-French offensive on the Somme in 1916 and commemorates over 72,000 men who have no known grave. During the tour, participants will each be given a card with a picture and story of a soldier who fought and died at the Somme.

Corrie Ten Boom (1982 - 1983)
She and her family risked their lives to save over 800 Jews and refugees from the German gestapo during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands in WWII. She was imprisoned along with her sister, at Ravensbrück, the German concentration camp for women. While Corrie survived the camp, her sister did not. Tour participants will receive a copy of The Hiding Place.
